Another school district evacuates schools: Emmett School District receives anonymous threat
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Emmett School District reports they too have received an anonymous threat and have evacuated students out of caution for everyone's safety.
Vallivue schools in Caldwell also received an anonymous bomb threat early Wednesday morning and began evacuating students.
Emmett School District reports that everyone is safe and that students may be picked up at the following locations:
- Shadow Butte - LDS Church at 980 W. Central St.
- Carberry and Butte View - LDS Church at 1001 E. 2nd St.
- Emmett Middle School and Emmett High School - Armory at Gem County Fairgrounds.
- Sweet - Fire station
- Ola - Community Center.
The school district promises to continue providing updates as they have more information and we will continue to update this story as we receive them. Law enforcement is working to investigate the threats and searching each of the schools in both Emmett and in Caldwell.
