Motorcycle rider hospitalized after car collision on State Highway 129 near Asotin

ASOTIN, Washington (CBS2) — A man was transported to the hospital following a car versus motorcycle accident near Asotin, Washington.

Asotin County Fire District #1, City of Asotin and Lewiston rescue crews responded to the crash about two miles north of Asotin on State Highway 129 just after 5 p.m. on Friday. The motorcycle rider received multiple injuries. The people in the car were not injured.

Traffic was stopped for about 20 minutes while rescue personnel cared for the injured man.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. There were no other reported injuries. Both the motorcycle and car were heavily damaged in this accident.
