Brock Edward Lesnar is an American-born professional wrestler, MMA fighter, and former football player. He’s won a number of titles including the WWE World and the UFC Heavyweight Championships. Lesnar was born to parents Stephanie and Richard on July 12, 1977, in Webster, South Dakota. He has three siblings, Troy, Chad, and Brandi. Lesnar was a student at Webster High School. He continued his education at Bismarck State College followed by the University of Minnesota. He studied business but never completed a degree.

CAREER
Prior to wrestling, Lesnar worked with the National Guard. He also worked briefly with a construction company. Lesnar began competing as an amateur wrestler during high school. He won the NJCAA heavyweight championship at Bismarck State College and later the NCAA Division I heavyweight championship at the University of Minnesota. Lesnar finished his college wrestling career with 106 wins and 5 losses. He was a 2x NCAA All-American and 2x Big Ten Conference Champion.

Lesnar signed with the WWF in 2000 and made his professional debut in a 2002 episode of Raw. He defeated Rob Van Dam three months later to win the King of the Ring. Lesnar went on to defeat The Rock at SummerSlam 2002 to win his first Undisputed WWE Championship. At age 25, he was the youngest wrestler to win the championship. Lesnar won two WWE titles against Kurt Angle but lost to Eddie Guerrero in 2004. He tried out for the Minnesota Vikings that same year but was cut during the preseason.

Lesnar made his MMA debut in 2006. He defeated Min Soo Kim in 2007 and was later signed with the UFC. After losing his first fight, Lesnar became the UFC Heavyweight Champion in 2008 with a victory over Randy Couture. He retired from MMA in 2011 following multiple instances of diverticulitis. Lesnar made his return to WWE in 2012. He managed to beat The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX, effectively ending The Undertaker’s winning streak. In July 2014, Lesnar was named WWE World Heavyweight Champion with a victory over John Cena.
