Judge orders release of Tylee Ryan's remains to next of kin in ongoing Daybell murder saga
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Judge Boyce has ordered the release of Tylee Ryan's remains to her next of kin.
Tylee Ryan and her younger brother JJ Vallow were both found dead in the backyard of Chad Daybell's property. Chad married Lori Vallow-Daybell, the children's mother, just two weeks after his wife Tammy Vallow died.
Tylee's remains were found dismembered and burned. Lori Vallow Daybell was found guilty of their murders earlier this year and has been sentenced to life in prison. She is now awaiting trial in Arizona for conspiracy to kill two other people after being extradited from Idaho.
Chad Daybell's trial is scheduled to being April 1, 2024. Judge Boyce just denied the defense's motion to have the death penalty removed in his trial.
Tylee's remains will likely be released to Colby Ryan, her older brother, as he is the last remaining next of kin.
