Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Landers spent most of her time growing up in Rockland County, New York. Her mother is Ruth Landers and she also has an older sister, Audrey Landers, who is also an actress.

Landers studied at American Academy of Dramatic Arts and also later on attended Warred Robertson Dramatic Training school to improve her acting skills. She also trained at the Juilliard School of Music.

Landers’ career began in the late ‘70’s playing various characters, but she became most known for her comedy films where she played mostly naïve characters. Some of the movies she made included “The Black Marble”, “Goldie and the Boxer”, “Doin’ Time”, “Stewardess School”, “Deadly Twins”, and “Armed and Dangerous”. Her streams of movies elevated her career and also raised her net worth.

Aside from movies, Landers also became active in television. Some of the shows that she appeared on included “Happy Days”, “The Love Boat”, “Charlie’s Angels”, “Night Court”, “B.J. and the Bear”, “Vega$”, “The Jeffersons”, “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”, “L.A. Law” and “The Fall Guy”. Her multiple appearances in various shows also helped raise her wealth.

When the ‘90’s and the 2000’s came, Landers might have slowed down a little bit, but she still continued to work in both television and film. She appeared in movies like “Club Fed” and “The Divine Enforcer”, but later on focused on television shows that she and her sister and mother worked on. Although she slowed down a bit, her various projects still helped maintain her net worth.

In 1996, Landers, and her sister and mother collaborated in a children’s show called “The Huggabug Club” and later on in “The Treehouse Club”. In 2006, they collaborated again and worked in a family film entitled “Circus Island”.
Aside from film and television, Landers also once posed in Playboy magazine back in the ‘80’s that also helped her career.
