Sosa was born Sammy Toro on October 30, 2001, in Sacramento, California. He was raised in the Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento. Growing up, he attended public school before switching to online classes.

“Off the Porch”, Sosa’s first single to blow-up, was released in October 2017. It commanded 2.9+ million YouTube views and mostly positive reviews. The video was directed by Bijan Productions.
