A news article by Vairal News 93 was posted on March 5, 2023, claiming that Justin Bieber died in a car crash. The post read, "USA (RIP) Justin Bieber died after crashing at over 100mph, coroner's report reveals 05.03.2023." While the death hoax was debunked #JustinBieberDead continued to trend on Twitter. Debunking the fake news, Snopes said, "There is no evidence Bieber is dead. If it was true, it would be widely reported and memorialized by reputable publications." In fact, the Candian singer made a public appearance on the same day as rumours began.
